“Breakfast at Graceland”

The BLM, Gunnison Trails and Gunnison Valley OHV Alliance of Trailriders (GOATS) invite you to celebrate these new trails recently constructed at the Hartman Rocks Recreation Area. Sunday, Sept. 20th beginning at 9am, we’ll be serving pancakes, sausages and juice at the bottom of Lower Luge/east Graceland trailhead (where Water Treatment and Fenceline used to begin) with a short ribbon cutting ceremony at 930am. Start or finish your hike, trail run, mountain bike or moto ride with breakfast!

The new trails are Graceland, High Five and Cat’s Castle; as well as a new portion of Gateway.  The majority of Water Treatment and Fenceline trails are now closed and restored, and just a small section of each of these trails remain intact as part of the new trails. The trails give Hartman Rocks a new look and feel that will take your breath away!

The new trails could not have been built without the help of the State of Colorado’s OHV Dollars at Work program, Western Colorado Conservation Corp, and volunteers.  The BLM, Gunnison Trails and the GOATS are proud of the work that was accomplished. Many thanks goes out all who helped.
