The seasons are shifting and with the snow starting to settle in the high mountains, we can’t think of a better way to celebrate all we’ve accomplished together this trail season than our annual Ales for Trails event! Brought to you in partnership with High Alpine Brewing Company, Ales for Trails is Gunnison Trails way of saying “THANK YOU” for another great trail season.

Come raise a pint to our founding Penny for Trails Partner High Alpine Brewing Company. Check out new trail development plans for Hartman Rocks, share your own ideas and provide feedback. Get social, mingle with fellow trail kooks and celebrate another amazing season of stewardship.

This night is one of the ways we want to thank our business partners and members whose sustaining financial support maintains YOUR local trails. We also send out our thanks to our incredible community of volunteers that either came out to get their hands dirty alongside us on trail work days, or worked with us to pull together The Original Growler. We couldn’t do what we do without each of you and your contributions to Gunnison Trails.

Ales for Trails is also our way of saying thanks to High Alpine Brewing Company for their continued support as our founding Pennies for Trails partner.

Since 2016, High Alpine Brewing Company (HABC) has collected a voluntary penny for every dollar spent at the brewery, donating all proceeds to Gunnison Trails. As Gunnison Trails’ official beer sponsor, HABC keeps our trail work days well lubricated with their fine ales. It’s well known that beer and trails make for a fine partnership, and Ales for Trails is our way of saying thanks to the brewery that supports our local trails. Come help pack the house, celebrate another season with friends, and tip one back for our trails.
