Spring mud closure at Hartman Rocks is in effect as of March 17, 2021. All trails and roads at Hartman Rocks are currently closed to motorized, mechanized (bikes) and horse traffic while conditions improve. Trails and roads are open to foot traffic, but get out there early while the ground is still frozen. Please avoid using the trails after mid-morning when conditions become muddy out there. And remember, if you do find yourself in lots of mud, stay on the trail rather than going around the mud and further impacting the sage.
