We’re celebrating National Public Lands Day with a monstrous trail build in Signal Peak. Join us Saturday, Sept. 28th from 9am – 3pm to move some earth as we build the Midlands….3.2 miles of hillside contouring, canyon crossing, sage wiggling track that will connect South Rim to the bottom of Chicken Wing. To celebrate, our friends at the BLM will be handing out Natl. Public Lands Day tees and a FREE entry to a Natl. Park to all volunteers (when’s the last time you explored Black Canyon Natl. Park?) Parker Pastures has once again generously donated all of the local, grass-fed beef to feed our hungry volunteers, while High Alpine Brewing is providing the libations. A HUGE thanks to our partners at All Sports Replay, Parker Pastures and High Alpine Brewing for supporting our end of season workday.

We’ll be kicking things off at 9am, meeting at the bottom of Chicken Wing trail. Please plan on carpooling or riding/hiking out if you can as parking is limited. We’ll have signage up for parking, and please avoid creating new spots and park close to the road rather than plowing into the sage. We’ll be digging until 3pm and then partying down afterwards. Come prepared for it all….sturdy shoes, gloves, water, snacks, rain gear, etc. We hope to see you out there for the grand finale of the 2019 trail season!
