There should be no more confusion at the top of Kill Hill when ending your ride now as new signs clearly show the way down either the intermediate Jack’s Trail or the black diamond, Collarbone Alley.

A crew from Gunnison Trails took a few hours yesterday and installed three signs in the area. The other two are at the bottom of Upper Jack’s and Upper Collarbone. The sign at the bottom of Jack’s hopefully will reduce the confusion that first-time users of Hartman Rocks often have that drives them to push their bikes up the Notch.

The other sign is to remind trail users that Collarbone Alley is a one-directional, downhill trail only. Many thanks to Dan Ampietro and the City of Gunnison for supporting the Upper Collarbone projects, for procuring and paying for the signs, posts and hardware and using city resources to assemble them. All we had to do was haul them out there, dig a few holes and place them.   Great stuff!
