Work on the Doctor Park Trail is planned for this Saturday to Commemorate National Public Lands Day. This year it’s the Crested Butte Mountain Bike Association (CBMBA) organizing it in conjunction with the US Forest Service, Gunnison Ranger District. Gunnison Trails members and supporters are invited to join in the fun.

The work will begin this Saturday, Sep. 27th, at 10:00am at the top of Doctor Park where the singletrack begins. Riders will leave North Bank Campground area around 9:00 am to ride up. The major rendezvous point is at the Spring Creek crossing (pictured above) at the junction of Spring Creek Rd. (NFSR #4774) and NFSR #545 (the beginning of the heinous road climb up to the Doctor Park trail!)

CBMBA will have shuttles on hand to transport people from the Spring Creek crossing to the top of Dr. Park. And, remember the plan is to meet at the top of Dr. Park at 10am to start work.
Food and beverages provided when finished at the North Bank Campground area.
