FINAL SOUTH RIM TRAIL BUILD for the 2023 season is this Saturday, Oct. 7 in celebration of National Public Lands Day. A MASSIVE thanks to our workday sponsors Double Shot Cyclery and The Dive Pub for closing out the season with a bang. We hope you can join us from 9am – 3pm as we continue the dig on  South Rim trail deep in Signal Peak. We’ve got some big work and elevation to gain before connecting the trail up to the rim of Signal Mesa. We’ll be meeting on BLM road 3211D (see directions below) starting at 9am and working until 3pm, following the work with some delicious food from The Dive and plenty of libations. Remember to wear good shoes and bring plenty of water, sunscreen, gloves and extra layers. With limited parking, we encourage you to carpool or ride to the workday to keep traffic and impacts to a minimum. If you ride, take South Rim trail almost to the intersection with Sunny D and look for the pink flagging heading uphill on your left.

Directions – take highway 50 east for 3.75 miles and turn LEFT onto BLM 3211D (there will be a bright yellow TRAIL WORK sign on the left side of the highway). The turn is just across from AM Salvage Barnwood, the timber-framing business. After turning off Highway 50, take your first left through a green BLM gate (make sure to close the gate behind you), and drive another 2 miles up BLM 3211d. 4WD is highly recommended.
