Gunnison Trails feels strongly that there should be language in the planning document that allows for:
future construction of new trails for the full spectrum of user skill level (new trails that may range from easy to extremely difficult);
trail or trail section reroutes that address issues of route sustainability;
trail or trail section reroutes that address issues of artificial hazard, such as fenceline trails.
It’s a chunky document so read it carefully and write down your comments as you go. If there is enough interest, we can plan an evening of food, drink, discussion and comment writing. If you are interested in this, let us know and we’ll put something together.
