Trail Work Tuesday – Good Tree, Aug. 31, brought to you by our friends at The Dive. Join us Tuesday, August 31, from 4-7pm for some much needed trail love on Good Tree. There’s lots of eroded soil and drainage needed along the trail after the recent rains. We’ll be meeting at the cattle trough off BLM 3211B. To get there, take BLM 3123 out of Tomichi Heights neighborhood for 2.4 miles, then turn right on BLM 3211B. This road climbs and descends several steep gullies before you reach the cattle trough.
If you arrive after 4pm, sign the waiver and grab a tool or two from the back of the truck (hoe, McLeod or shovel) and head up South Rim to the west to access Good Tree. We’ll hike in extra tools for those planning to ride to the work. As always, we’ll be grilling and enjoying a few pints from our friends at High Alpine Brewing Company after the work.
